More about me:
I believe therapy is a powerful place for self-exploration. It’s truly incredible what you can find out about yourself when you’re given a completely safe and open space to dive deep into your mind. That’s my aim for working with clients: to help you foster an environment where shame and nerves disappear and confidence and acceptance can bloom. I will sit with you in the trenches and help you climb out of any emotional hole you may find yourself in.
My practice is focused around helping you build a healthy relationship with food and body image that’s all your own. Eating is something we humans must do every day, multiple times a day, to survive. Diet culture has us casting doubt on our hunger cues, our ability to feel satisfied with food, and our body’s abilities to beautifully exist without pursuing thinness. In my work with clients, that stops. We work to bring back your innate capacity to listen to your body, quiet your food noise, and accept your body and who you are in the here-and-now.
I work with clients aged 12 and older with eating disorders, disordered eating, body image concerns, anxiety, depression, and more. Our work together will be a team effort and a collaboration, never a one-sided how-to guide on how to “fix” yourself. You know more about yourself than anyone else ever will, and this great strength will be tapped into every day to help you rediscover your power.
